About
“Early, pragmatic risk management turns international regulatory complexity into a manageable challenge.”
Magalie Wasem Tréguer
Making complexity manageable — so you can move forward with confidence.
A frustration that became a mission
Early in my career, I saw how often in-house teams were handed advice they couldn’t readily use — technically sound, perhaps, but insufficiently attuned to business realities and the practical demands of the role. The burden of bridging that gap fell on them. That experience stayed with me, and it ultimately shaped both my approach and my purpose.
I know the role from the inside
In 2015, I founded Pharma Law Solutions. Having spent many years in senior in-house legal, compliance and privacy roles myself, I understand the responsibility and pressure that comes with those positions. I know where risks typically arise, and I know how advice needs to be framed for an in-house team to act on it — immediately and with confidence.
What I bring
Over more than 25 years of advising the life sciences industry internationally, I have built a combination of expertise that is rare in a single advisor:
Deep, hands-on R&D legal knowledge
Strong data protection and privacy capabilities
Innovative AI-related legal advice
Compliance global expertise
Working within an extensive global network of legal, compliance and privacy professionals
all in the context of research, clinical trials and digital innovation, globally across Europe, the United States and multiple other markets. Through Pharma Law Solutions, I offer this as external advice with the sensitivity and pragmatism of in-house counsel.
My commitment to you
My work is hands-on, solution-oriented and delivered timely. I want to help you to not just resolve the immediate challenge facing you, but to build your team’s capacity to handle similar matters in-house over time. My commitment is straightforward: clear advice, practical solutions, and the foresight to identify and address regulatory and compliance risks before they become bigger problems.
Where Business Law Meets Artificial Intelligence
In addition to my „Master of Laws in Business Law", I also hold an "Executive Master’s degree in Law and AI“ from the Brussels Study Center (University of Liège).
This gives me the ability to advise you on the use of AI and digital solutions in life sciences within a complex regulatory and privacy landscape. I offer legally sound, inspection-ready guidance when innovative technologies are applied, especially in research, development and beyond. I identify AI-related risks early and translate them into clear, practical advice that supports compliant and efficient clinical operations.
